Case Definitions:

Step 1:

Search ‘Data Entry’ app in Apps menu.

Apps menu is located on top right corner of DHIS2. Click on the text box and click Data Entry app. If the data entry app is not within visible area, either scroll down the apps or search the app by typing in the search box.

Step 2:

Make sure your hospital is selected in Organization unit.

By default your hospital should be selected and displayed in Organization Unit text box. If your hospital is not displayed automatically, please select from left panel.

Step 3:

Select Designated ‘Syndromic Surveillance’ Data set.

Syndromic Surveillance (Jajarkot Earthquake) is available in data set drop-down. Please select the data set and proceed to the next step.

Step 4:

Select the reporting period from the periods list.

List of daily periods will be available in period drop-down. Select the desired reporting period from the list.

Following data entry form will be displayed.

Please fill the data entry form as per the case definitions.
